Reportedly, Smailagić is close to rejoining the Belgrade club, with only minor details left to finalize for the transfer to materialize. "Mozzart" indicates that Alen was contacted immediately after negotiations with Zach LeDay fell through, and he is set to arrive at Partizan as a free agent.

Simultaneously, the black-and-whites are working on bringing in another Virtus player – Alessandro Pajola, who, according to Italian media, is almost certainly heading to Belgrade.

"Corriere di Bologna" asserts there is no doubt that Pajola will soon conclude his first international engagement and become a new Partizan basketball player. As the aforementioned newspaper notes, the Italian international will wear the same colors as Virtus, but for the Belgrade club.

VIDEO: Smailagić shocked by Željko's departure, then stated: Duško is a true gentleman!
