News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that Musa, a resident of Agadasawa area of Dala in the municipality, had forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl at Koki Quarters in the area.

The prosecutor, Abdullahi Babale, told the court that the accused was arraigned on a charge of rape, an offence which was contrary and punishable under Section 16 (1) of the Trafficking in Persons Act of  2015.

The presiding judge, Justice Saleh Kogo, however, adjourned the case to December 1, 2016, for ruling after accepting the prayer of the accused seeking leave of the court to hire a lawyer.
