The militants, who were granted amnesty since 2012, were said to have arrived the road that leads to Government House in six Toyota Hiace buses, chanting songs and carrying placards with different inscriptions.

It was however not immediately determined what their demands were.

According to Punch, the protesters blocked the government house entrance for over four hours.
