Singer talks about new album, Angelique Kidjo, music beef

Omawumi was explosive as she had her first interview of 2016 with Pulse TV.

The singer is working on her third studio album, and the first single off the project is titled ‘Play by play’, featuring the Grammy winner, Angelique Kidjo.

Recorded live, the album is arranged by Cobhams Asuquo, and features collaborations with a number of power players in the scene including Salif Keita.

Omawumi spoke on the work, and many more, disclosing how she juggles motherhood and music. She also comments on the many controversies rocking the Nigerian entertainment scene.
