While renovation work continues at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Olympiacos have been temporarily using AEK's Sunel Arena.
Following their EuroLeague Round 4 clash against Anadolu Efes, red spray-paint graffiti was found across public areas—most notably in the restrooms—including tags affiliated with the "Gate 7" ultras group.
A section of fans from the Piraeus club vandalised the venue, prompting AEK to formally demand compensation for the damage.
AEK lodged an official request for financial reimbursement, while Olympiacos expressed deep regret over the supporters' actions and pledged to cover the full cost of the repairs.
"We were deeply saddened to see graffiti in the public areas of the Sunel Arena. Immediate orders have been issued to repair all damage." – BC Olympiacos
The Piraeus outfit will play their next game at the arena against Kolossos Rhodes in the domestic league, with tip-off scheduled for Sunday at 12:00 PM.
