The vibrant young cybersecurity professional, who recently graduated from the University of Bradford, tragically breathed her last on January 1, 2024.

The Nigerian Community Association in the UK announced the news in a heavy-hearted statement on Monday, January 15.

Following her graduation, Oluwaseun was poised to embark on a promising career in the cybersecurity field. Her sudden passing leaves not only a gap in the Nigerian community but also a void in the world of cybersecurity, where her skills and passion were sure to make a significant impact.

In the wake of this tragedy, the Nigerian Community Association has launched a fundraising campaign to support Oluwaseun's family with the burial expenses. "In this difficult time, we seek your support to help her family cover the burial expenses," the statement read.

The fundraiser, Yakub Ibrahim Olakunle, described the deceased as "a wonderful colleague and friend, who always went above and beyond to support her family and friends."

The fund will cover burial expenses and also support the husband and three children she left behind. Since the GoFundMe launched on January 2, it has raised only £730 of its £10,000 goal.

While the pain of losing Oluwaseun is immense, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her bright smile, her dedication to her field, and her unwavering kindness will continue to inspire.
