Oliver Solberg (Toyota) clinched victory at Rally Chile, the 12th round of the 2026 WRC season, finishing 16.6 seconds ahead of his teammate Sébastien Ogier. Solberg also secured first place in the Power Stage and a second-place finish in the Super Sunday standings.
With this double triumph in Chile, Toyota has secured the WRC Manufacturers' World Championship – their sixth consecutive title in the last six seasons and their tenth overall. Toyota's first manufacturers' title came in 1993, and their tenth in 2026. This achievement puts Toyota on par with Lancia at the top of the standings, with both legendary rally marques now boasting 10 titles each.
Adrien Fourmaux (Hyundai) finished third in Chile, capitalizing on championship leader Elfyn Evans' puncture in the penultimate stage. The Welsh Toyota star dropped from second to fifth in the overall classification but managed to finish second in the Power Stage, losing only 3 points to Sami Pajari.
Pajari finished fourth in Chile, narrowing the championship gap to 17 points behind Evans. However, Solberg has now closed to within 21 points of Elfyn, setting up a thrilling three-way battle for the world title.
