Portuguese coach Bruno Baltazar is back at Radomiak Radom, tasked with guiding the team through the crucial final stages of the Polish top flight. He takes the helm with eight matches remaining in the season, as the team sits three points clear of the relegation zone.
This return marks just over a year since Baltazar's initial stint with the club, where he managed during the first half of the 2024/2025 season. Following that, the Portuguese coach accepted an offer from French side Caen, departing in February 2025.
Bruno Baltazar's arrival coincides with the departure of Kiko Ramirez, as confirmed by Radomiak. Ramirez had previously replaced another Portuguese coach, Gonçalo Feio, who left the club after a controversial incident involving a local municipal official. Before Feio, João Henriques, now with Aves SAD, had started the season in charge.
Radomiak's sporting director, fellow Portuguese António Ribeiro, expressed confidence in the returning coach: «Bruno Baltazar has been with our club before; he understands the environment and knows most of the players. Even after he left, he continued to follow our games, and I believe that, thanks to his familiarity with the team, he will adapt quickly and prepare the squad well for the final matches of the season.»
Throughout his career, Bruno Baltazar has gained experience at Atlético, Casa Pia, Olhanense, and Estoril. His time in Cyprus was highlighted by winning the national championship with APOEL Nicosia, and he also coached AEL Limassol. In England, he was part of the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest.
