Official Market: Rio Ave announces signing of former Botafogo forward

Rio Ave officially announced the signing of Samuel Alves this Friday, confirming the news first reported by A BOLA.

The 18-year-old Brazilian striker has penned a four-year deal (until 2030). According to information gathered by our newspaper, the Vila do Conde club paid approximately 500,000 euros for 90% of the player's economic rights.

The remaining 10% of his rights will stay with Botafogo, the club he had been with since 2025. He made his senior team debut for the Rio de Janeiro-based side last January.

Despite his young age, Samuel Alves will join Rio Ave's senior squad, adding to Sotiris Silaidopoulos' attacking options.
