Striker Loïs Openda has officially joined Lyon on a season-long loan from Juventus. The French club paid €3.5 million for the 26-year-old's temporary move, with no option to buy included in the deal.

Last summer, the "Old Lady" signed the Belgian international from RB Leipzig in a deal worth a total of €46 million. However, he failed to live up to expectations, scoring just two goals in 34 appearances, most of which came off the bench. This will be Openda's second stint in Ligue 1, having previously played for Lens during the 2022/23 season, where he netted 21 goals in 42 matches.
