Obradović suffers first Panathinaikos defeat in incredible fashion: Osman's buzzer-beater seals win for PAOK! /VIDEO/

While the Athens team kicked off their season triumphantly against Paris, just days prior, PAOK had given them a serious challenge in the Pavlos Giannakopoulos tournament final. Panathinaikos managed to secure that victory, but this time... the black-and-whites emerged victorious.

The tension was palpable throughout, much like last week's encounter where Panathinaikos had a bit more luck in the closing moments. This time, in a game of much greater significance, it was Cedi Osman who stepped up with a phenomenal performance, delivering the win for the Thessaloniki squad.

The finish was truly incredible. Sylvan Francisco hit a three-pointer to put Panathinaikos up 82-81, but PAOK had the final possession. The ball, of course, went to Osman, who initially looked to drive to the basket. However, Calathes was wide open in the corner. The veteran Greek took the shot but missed. PAOK grabbed the rebound, the ball found Osman again, and he launched a fearless three-pointer that swished through the net as the buzzer sounded, securing the victory.

In the final, set to be played in Peristeri, Olympiacos, who earlier defeated AEK 93-80, will face PAOK. This could mark the beginning of a new "status quo" in Greek basketball after years of dominance by Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.
