Saša Obradović commented on Partizan's post after the game, in which the black-and-whites took a jab at the rival coach.

I never underestimated anyone. If that's a reason to motivate someone, then there's a reason for us to be motivated by Karlik Jones' statement. I didn't say it in a demeaning way, but if it came across like that... We didn't have a practice to discuss it. I don't demean anyone in life, nor was it in that context. As for us, we don't need extra motivation; every win's significance is well known. Saša Obradović

It's clear they haven't forgotten the statement from eternal rival coach Saša Obradović after the ABA League derby.

Coming off a tough game and a loss in Athens, we practically didn't even have a gym; everything was today. We found a way, and for most of the match, the energy was good, with a high number of successful three-pointers, which wasn't the case in previous games. It's very important that we didn't expend too much energy; let this be a strong training session for what awaits us. Saša Obradović

After their EuroLeague triumph on Thursday, Partizan decided to take an unprecedented jab at Zvezda. On the black-and-whites' official Instagram account, a picture was posted with a series of wins, accompanied by a clear allusion:
