The experienced tactician emphasized that his team finished a second straight game with more turnovers than assists, highlighting this as the primary reason for the defeat.

Nevertheless, the Athens side's head coach praised his players' determination to claw their way back into the contest, noting that several individuals still need time to settle in after playing more games than completing full practice sessions. Obradović also congratulated Aris and opposing head coach Vassilis Spanoulis.

"First of all, I would like to congratulate Aris. They played with immense energy and delivered a top-quality performance. On the other hand, credit goes to my players as well for fighting back and getting themselves into a position to contest the game. However, turnovers are clearly our biggest issue. We surrendered far too many easy points to our opponents, particularly in the opening two quarters." – Željko Obradović

Addressing the high error rate, he added:

"It's obvious what is happening, and the players themselves understand where the mistakes lie. This is a long process and, as with everything in life, it takes time. We have several players who have played more matches than they have had joint training sessions. It is completely natural to see dips in consistency when a player is thrust into competitive action without an adjustment period. I have full faith in them, and we will keep working hard to accomplish our objectives both domestically and in the EuroLeague."

He also offered praise for his counterpart on the opposing bench.

"There is nothing new I can say about Vassilis Spanoulis that isn't already known. We all know what kind of player he was and what kind of coach he is today. He achieved remarkable success with Monaco and is doing a great job leading the national team. He deserves every compliment."

Reflecting on the statistical breakdown and his team's performance, he concluded:

"To reiterate, we committed far too many mistakes and missed a considerable number of free throws, which is plain to see on the stat sheet. The team needs to play with greater composure. This is the second game in a row where we recorded more turnovers than assists, and that is the root cause of these defeats."

Asked about the overall standard of the domestic championship and the competition, Obradović noted that both Aris and PAOK possess exceptional quality, while adding that there are several other teams across the league that demand maximum respect.
