Nwora scored 12 points against his former team and looked far more settled on the court. The Nigerian international emphasized that the team thoroughly earned the victory.

"I think this was a step in the right direction. I still don't think we're at our best level, but it was definitely progress. Obviously, we managed to get the win. We played faster, we executed what the coach asked of us today... We got contributions from a lot of guys, which was great. It was a fantastic team effort." - Jordan Nwora

Everyone is gradually settling into the system, Nwora included.

"I think that's fair to say. It's very different from what many people are used to, and very different from what I'm used to... But once everyone buys in and embraces it, this team can be really good. That's just part of what makes a team strong, you know? This will be a year where you never know whose night it will be. It could be someone different every game... and that's what makes this group special." - Jordan Nwora

He is confident the team will continue to grow as time goes on.

"With every game, this team is going to keep improving and understanding the system better. Like I said, this is all new for a lot of guys, myself included. We started 0-2, got the win tonight, and now it's all about keeping that momentum in the right direction—even if we can't win every single game, even if we take a loss—as long as we do things the right way and don't stray from the brand of basketball we want to play." - Jordan Nwora

He also decided to ditch his braids, joking that they felt cursed.

"After the last game when we dropped to 0-2, I literally said I'm taking the braids out... They were still completely fine, I didn't even need to take them down. I had just put them in five days earlier, but I thought, 'We're 0-2, I'm taking them out, we can't start the season like this.' I'll bring them back eventually—let's win some games first, then I'll get them back. Maybe that was the problem, I shouldn't have started the year with braids, so it's all good." - Jordan Nwora

He then revealed that he shares a building with Partizan players, though there is no bad blood between them.

"I do have neighbors from Partizan, yeah... But everyone has been great, even those guys. Just a few comments here and there, nothing major, just friendly and competitive banter. Everyone in my building has been wonderful... That's what makes things off the court special, they've been awesome." - Jordan Nwora

He also named his favorite neighbor from the black-and-white side of Belgrade.

"I think my favorite... someone living in my building who is actually a very close friend of mine is Derek Willis. He's from Louisville, his family spends a lot of time at my place... We've become really close. Obviously, I lived there, went to school there, and still have a home there. That's my brother. I know we play for rival teams now, but he's still my brother. We talk all the time and grab food together often. If you see us hanging out this season, it's just because our bond goes deeper than basketball." - Jordan Nwora
