Chelsea recently faced sanctions for breaching the Premier League's financial regulations. However, according to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest is reportedly preparing to lodge a complaint with the English league regarding this penalty. Specifically, the British outlet states that the Reds consider the Premier League's punishment for the Blues, who were accused of undeclared payments over a seven-year period, to be too lenient.

Nottingham Forest is therefore expected to file a complaint with the Premier League, protesting the severity of this punishment. It's worth recalling that Chelsea received a one-window transfer ban and a fine exceeding 11 million euros.

Nevertheless, many in England believe this penalty was insufficient, as the West London club did not incur any sporting sanctions.
