Before the match, Norwegian challenged British Airways to a friendly wager: the losing airline would change its social media logo to the winner's for one day. Following the Norwegian team's defeat, they honored their promise, and their profile has been adorned with the British carrier's logo since last night. "Well played, England and British Airways," Norwegian posted on Instagram. British Airways responded with, "This new look really suits you."
Other airlines also joined the social media banter in recent days. After the bet was settled, they commended Norwegian for keeping their word. "Respect to Norwegian!" stated the Malaysia Airlines social media team. "At most airlines, a logo change would take six months and require 14 approvals," they added light-heartedly. DPA reported.
