The Norwegian national team continued its preparations for their upcoming World Cup Round of 16 clash against Brazil.
Erling Haaland and his teammates have led their country to its first World Cup appearance since 1998. Back then, the Norwegians reached the knockout stage after an incredible 2-1 comeback victory against then-world champions Brazil in their final group stage match, scoring goals in the 83rd and 89th minutes.
In the current tournament, Norway defeated Ivory Coast 2-1, thanks to goals from Antonio Nusa and Haaland, who netted the winning goal in the 86th minute of the match.
The Manchester City striker now has five goals to his name in this World Cup. This places him tied for second with England's Harry Kane, just one goal behind the tournament's current top scorers – Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé.
