Budućnost basketball players host Partizan at 6 PM in a derby match of the sixth round of the ABA League Top 8 phase.

No time for celebration for the black and whites. Just three days after their Eternal Derby victory, Partizan faces another tough challenge.

The Belgrade giants' opponent is Budućnost, who will do everything in their power to secure a triumph in Morača and improve their playoff seeding.

Partizan currently sits second in the standings with a 19-2 record, but they have a game in hand compared to first-placed Dubai, whom they will overtake with a win. Budućnost, on the other hand, is fourth with a 16-5 record and is battling Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet for third position.

The two teams met less than two months ago in the first round of the Top 8 phase, where Partizan secured a convincing victory in Belgrade.

Peñarroya Ahead of Budućnost Clash: "Good Energy is Key!"

Before traveling to Montenegro, Joan Peñarroya gave a statement.

"We're facing an important and very tough away game. Budućnost has been playing exceptionally well this season in the ABA League; they are one of the highest-quality teams and are fighting for the top spot in the standings, which speaks volumes about their quality. We need to prepare very well and play a high-quality game because they have players in good form who are playing with a lot of confidence. That's why it's important for us to have the right energy and to focus on the key aspects from the start to achieve a victory." - Joan Peñarroya

Sheikh Milton, the 'Steamroller's' player, echoed his coach's sentiments.

"I believe we can expect a good game. If we stay focused from the start and execute what we've prepared, I think we have a good chance. After a very emotional match, it will be important to start the game well." - Sheikh Milton

Žakelj Clear: "A Tough Task Awaits Us!"

Andrej Žakelj, the home team's coach, also spoke ahead of the Podgorica duel.

"We're expecting an interesting opponent. Partizan is a team in very good form, as confirmed by their winning streak in the EuroLeague. They are quality, tough, with clearly defined tasks, especially in offense, and possess great individual talent. At this moment, they are playing with a lot of confidence and energy, so a tough task awaits us. We want to give our maximum, as much as possible given all the injury problems we have. I believe the players will be motivated and will give their all." - Andrej Žakelj
