Until February, Sochan was part of the San Antonio Spurs, which automatically entitles him to a championship ring, should his former team, of course, win the title.
In fact, Sochan was waived and then signed with the Knicks as a free agent. He has since reached the NBA Finals, where he will face his former teammates.
The Polish international spent four seasons with the San Antonio squad. Due to injury, he missed the entire semifinal series against Cleveland and will most likely not be ready for Game 1 of the Finals against his former club.
During the regular season, he averaged 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Sochan represents Poland internationally, despite being born in England.
