Despite Hapoel Tel Aviv's owner "relocating" Brissett to Partizan, it appears the deal is off, according to Israeli sports outlet Sport 5.

According to their sources, the Canadian forward had already agreed to extend his contract with Maccabi last week. While Partizan did submit an official offer and contacted the player, the Tel Aviv club reacted swiftly.

Maccabi offered Brissett significantly better financial terms and removed the exit clause from his contract, effectively halting his transfer to Belgrade. The player himself confirmed the deal was dead, having already informed his teammates he would be staying with the club.

Yanay Ignites Partizan Fans

In a conversation with fans on the social media platform "X," Yanay responded instantly, stating the American was joining Partizan.
