KK Partizan Announcement

An extraordinary session of the KK Partizan Assembly was held. The path towards obtaining a EuroLeague franchise status, a vital infrastructure project, and the re-election of Club President Ostoja Mijailović were all confirmed. On Thursday, September 10th, an extraordinary session of the KK Partizan Assembly took place, attended by almost all active members of the club's highest body. After approving the minutes from the previous session, the Assembly also adopted an amendment to the agenda.Although the election of the Club President was not initially foreseen on the proposed agenda, a majority of Assembly members initiated a motion to include this item just before the session began. The reason cited for this initiative was that KK Partizan is entering a period requiring some of the most crucial strategic and investment decisions in decades. Therefore, the Club needs continuity in leadership and a president capable of taking responsibility for the implementation of ongoing projects. After the Assembly accepted the expanded agenda by a majority vote, Ilija Dražić proposed that Ostoja Mijailović continue to serve as the president of KK Partizan. The proposal was adopted with 29 votes out of 30 present members with voting rights at that moment, with one abstention, thereby entrusting Mijailović with a new mandate at the helm of the Club.Following the vote, Ostoja Mijailović thanked the assembly members for their trust and stated that after completing the entrusted strategic tasks, he would put his mandate up for a vote again.Previously, President Mijailović presented to the Assembly members the results of the ongoing process towards obtaining EuroLeague franchise status for the 2027/28 season, as well as a financial plan. This plan, in the event of a positive decision by the EuroLeague Board in early October, would ensure the Club secures funds for the first and largest installment of 12.5 million euros within the prescribed timeframe.KK Partizan
