I love you

This isn't a lie

I can't do without you

This is hell of a lie

New resolutions

Calls for new interpretations

Of what we truly mean

To each other

So why don't we continue to pretend

Since we aren't ready to end

This sweet nonsense

That we call a relationship

This year is yet young

So my resolve isnt so strong

Perhaps time will unveil

Truer things

Or more untruth.
