The transfer fee for the deal is reported to be €60 million, plus add-ons. The 20-year-old talent is set to sign a contract until the summer of 2031, earning an annual salary of €4.8 million. Manzambi emerged as Switzerland's breakout star at the 2026 World Cup, netting three goals and providing two assists in four tournament appearances. However, he missed the Round of 16 clash against Colombia due to injury and is likely to be sidelined for the quarter-final encounter with Argentina. At club level, the young player made 58 appearances for Freiburg over two seasons, scoring 9 goals and assisting 11, and notably reached the Europa League final with the German side.
