On that list, Nikola Jokic holds the seventh position. Frank Urbina, one of the list's creators, shared his thoughts on the Serbian star, which you can read below.

Nikola Jokic, arguably the greatest passing big man in history, is only the ninth player in NBA history to win three MVP awards. In addition to his 2022-2023 championship title, Jokic also led Serbia to a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, where he became the first player to finish an Olympic tournament as the leader in points, rebounds, and assists. This once again demonstrated how directly his performance impacts victories. Last season, Jokic finished second in MVP voting for the second consecutive time, matching Bill Russell and Larry Bird for the most consecutive seasons among the top two in MVP voting – six. This means that in the past six seasons, Jokic has never ranked lower than second, showcasing a level of consistency and dominance rarely seen in the NBA. Jokic can practically do everything from the center position – create for teammates like a point guard, play with his back to the basket with exceptional efficiency in finishing, stretch the floor with his three-point shot, and almost flawlessly hit his characteristic floater. He has also improved defensively, where he is an exceptional rebounder, and thanks to his quick and intelligent hands, he also racks up a significant number of steals. He is still only 31 years old, and his playing style should age well, making it entirely realistic to imagine him making a significant leap up this list in the future, especially if he and the Denver Nuggets secure another championship title in the coming years.
