Nemanja Vidic: Bulgarians are like Serbs – you watch more international football

Nemanja Vidic, who lifted 15 trophies during his playing career with Manchester United, is thrilled by the significant interest in international football in Bulgaria. On Wednesday, April 22nd, the legendary Serbian defender will be a special guest at an event hosted by Betano, the official global sponsor of the Europa League and Conference League, where the trophies for both tournaments will be unveiled.

“I know there’s a Manchester United fan club here, and there will be many supporters. People here in Bulgaria love football. Just like in Serbia, you watch more international matches than local league games. I expect to see many fans, and it will be a great event. I’m glad they invited me. I’ve always felt welcome here in Bulgaria,” stated Vidic, who was a guest in the Sportal.bg studio.
