The Portuguese center was on court for 28 minutes, during which he converted eight of 13 field goal attempts, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out one assist, recorded one block, and one steal.

With this win, the Celtics secured a top-six spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

In the absence of Jaylen Brown and Derrick White, only two teammates outscored Queta: forward Jayson Tatum, with 32 points, and guard Payton Pritchard, who added 28. Tatum's performance marked his season-high since returning from injury and pushed him past the 14,000-point career milestone in the NBA.

For the Hornets, guard LaMelo Ball led the scoring with 19 points.

This result marked the Celtics' 50th triumph in 74 games, solidifying their second-place position in the Eastern Conference, trailing only the league-leading Detroit Pistons (54 wins and 20 losses).
