NBA Legend Warns Wembanyama: Take Your Medication!

Legendary basketball player Chris Bosh revealed he continues to battle serious health problems that have plagued him since his career's premature end.

The two-time NBA champion with the Miami Heat was forced to retire in 2016 after doctors diagnosed him with blood clot issues.

He attempted multiple comebacks but his health condition prevented him from continuing to play.

"I had another episode in January. I was practically on the brink of death, but I managed to pull through. I'm not joking. I experienced another pulmonary embolism and spent a week in the hospital," Bosh stated.

"I simply have to live with it. I thought it was all behind me, but it wasn't. That's why I need to remain disciplined."

Because of this, he offered crucial advice to Victor Wembanyama, who suffered from venous thrombosis in his right shoulder last season.

"Take your medication regularly," Bosh emphasized, adding:

"He needs to stick to his treatment to ensure it doesn't happen again, because one more time is all it takes. It happened to me twice, and I couldn't play anymore. So, I believe in his case, the most important thing is to do everything necessary to keep his blood as thin as possible and to take care of his body off the court."

It's worth noting that Wembanyama, despite all his health issues, managed to return to the court and had an excellent season, being named Defensive Player of the Year and reaching the finals.
