The 22-time Grand Slam champion will take to the court in Nevada on February 27, organizers announced on Monday. The Spaniard previously faced Carlos Alcaraz in a Las Vegas exhibition match in 2024 during his final season on the professional tour.
"I remember how incredible it was to feel the energy of a packed arena in a city like Las Vegas. Now I'm returning at a different stage of my life, without the pressure, but with the exact same passion for the sport. I have always loved competing, and even though my professional career is over, that feeling never goes away," said the 40-year-old Nadal.
The remaining field and the event format will be announced in the coming weeks. The exhibition is scheduled just ahead of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells, California. Last year's edition saw eight players compete in a tie-break format.
