On Saturday, December 12th, Motherhood In-StyleMagazine held its Mums Netwalking eventas a way to raise an awareness about the need to take action towards ending violence against women and children.

With news of mindless incidents of violence perpetrated against women and children increasing everyday, and in the wake of the senseless, police related killings of two mothers, Beauty Macloed and Idongesit UdoMotherhood In-Style magazine felt the urgent need to do something, and this inspired the organization of the walk.

Mothers from all across the country passionate about the cause came out to show support, including Paul and Peter Okoye’s wives, Lola & Anita; Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda; former beauty queen, Helen Prest-Ajayi, and more.
