Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho was conspicuously absent from La Liga's traditional annual coaches' meeting in Madrid. The event, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), brought together specialists from both the top flight and the second division of Spanish football, with invitations extended to a total of 42 coaches, as reported by "Marca."

During the forum, Fran Soto, president of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) within the federation, delivered a speech. In his address, he emphasized the critical need for demonstrating respect towards football officials.

Mourinho's absence follows closely on the heels of his scathing criticism of the officiating after his team's 2-1 defeat to Atlético Madrid in the seventh round of the championship. The controversies surrounding that match generated significant tension between Real Madrid and La Liga, with the royal club's management even demanding the resignation of league president Javier Tebas.
