It was already confirmed in late July that the next season in the premier class would kick off in early March with the Thailand Grand Prix. The race weekend at Buriram, scheduled for March 5-7, will also mark the beginning of MotoGP's entirely new 850cc era.

Today, it was revealed that the upcoming MotoGP season will conclude on November 28th with the Valencia Grand Prix, which has traditionally hosted the final round since 1999. The full calendar, expected once again to feature 22 rounds but with at least one change from the 2026 season, will be presented this Friday.

The change will involve the Argentine Grand Prix, which is set to return to the schedule after a one-year absence. However, it won't be held at Termas de Río Hondo, but rather at the completely renovated Oscar y Juan Gálvez circuit in the capital, Buenos Aires. The Argentine race is expected to replace the Hungarian Grand Prix, which is anticipated to drop out after just two years on the calendar.
