While the ruling Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, says it has done enough in the past 15 years to be given another chance, the major opposition party, the All Progressive Congress, APC, believes that the PDP has failed the country, and therefore, should be voted out.

But many Nigerians are divided into several lines, with many believing the the APC is just an extension of the PDP and cannot do better than the ruling party.
