Moneke was the undisputed hero of Crvena zvezda's victory in Vitoria. The Nigerian forward carried the team in overtime, ultimately finishing the game with 22 points and eight rebounds. He concluded the match with an efficiency rating of 32, and afterwards, he spoke briefly to EuroLeague cameras, in his characteristic style, about the game.

Do or die. Every game is a Final Four for us. I'm overjoyed with this win.Chima Moneke

Zvezda has come back from the brink multiple times this season, a point Moneke highlighted, even dropping a colorful expletive on air.

We've done this before. We played like s*** in the first half, excuse my language, I need to calm down. We've come back from tough situations; I'd prefer not to have to, but we managed to do it in the end.Chima Moneke

What did Saša Obradović say after the Baskonia game?

This game proves that this might be one of the best EuroLeague seasons ever. There are no easy games; it's a battle to the very end. I can complain about how we started the match, but we picked ourselves up, defensively first and foremost. We played against an atypical team that attacks with a small lineup, but we found a way to win. A team victory. We need to start games better if we want to be at the top in the end.Saša Obradović
