Monaco's winning streak to start the season has come to an end, as the Monegasques could only manage a 1-1 draw in their away fixture against Strasbourg. CSKA's opponent in the Conference League group stage had previously secured five consecutive victories across all competitions this season, including a 2-1 away win against champions Paris Saint-Germain just last week.

Today, Philippe Louis's side faced difficulties from the first half, and by the 52nd minute, they found themselves trailing. Sadibou Sane scored an unfortunate own goal, heading the ball into his own net after a free-kick cross from Oso. Monaco had an immediate chance to equalize, but Jörgensen saved Brunner's header.

In the 72nd minute, Monaco finally drew level thanks to a spectacular strike from approximately 25 yards out by none other than Paris Brunner.

Two minutes before the final whistle, Denis Zakaria thought he had secured the victory for Monaco, but his goal was disallowed after VAR intervention for offside.

The Monegasques now have 10 points after four matches played, while Strasbourg sits three points behind them.
