Jones tallied 20 points and 10 assists, proving particularly dominant in the fourth quarter when Partizan decisively broke the game open. A day later, his efforts were duly recognized.

Jones has been named MVP of the first round, achieving an index rating of 33, higher than any other player in the opening week. He outranked Dwayne Bacon, who posted an index of 31, and Sasha Vezenkov, who recorded 30 index points in Olympiacos' victory over Baskonia.

Carlik Jones spent 27 minutes on the court, finishing with 20 points (6/11 shooting from the field), and rounded off his phenomenal display with ten assists and four rebounds. Notably, he committed zero turnovers and drew five fouls.

It remains to be seen if the black-and-whites' point guard can maintain this rhythm. Partizan now prepares for an away game against Paris on Tuesday at 8:45 PM.
