Ostoja Mijailović, president of KK Partizan, discussed the summer transfer window in an interview with Kurir.
When asked if it was true that Partizan was close to signing certain players who ultimately joined other teams, such as Lonnie Walker, the black-and-whites' top executive stated:

"Of course, that happens. But there's one thing the public needs to understand: not every player a portal claims is 'in talks with Partizan' was actually in negotiations with Partizan. Here's a concrete example: Nick Weiler-Babb was offered to us. We evaluated the player and determined he didn't fit our team's vision." - Ostoja Mijailović
It's worth noting that Nick Weiler-Babb ultimately signed with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet.
"We didn't send an offer, and we didn't negotiate. That's the whole story. It was similar with many other players. Portals linked us to dozens of names we never even contacted. Then, when a player signs with another club, the narrative emerges that Partizan 'lost the race.' That's simply not true. I understand that this creates headlines and sensationalism sells news, but I don't accept that a picture of Partizan's unsuccessful work is painted based on fabricated negotiations. There were real negotiations, of course. Some players chose other clubs. That's an integral part of this business. But not every player who goes elsewhere was a player we wanted or with whom we negotiated." - Ostoja Mijailović
To recap, Partizan signed Kyle Allman, Derrick Willis, Luca Vildoza, Nikola Tanasković, Alessandro Pajola, Lamar Stevens, and Kevarrius Hayes this summer.
