The night race in Singapore concluded an exhausting run of three consecutive race weekends in the 23-round 2026 championship, following back-to-back stops in Azerbaijan and Malaysia.

Drivers' championship leader Kimi Antonelli did not manage a victory across this grueling triple-header, but he still extended his advantage over team-mate George Russell from 81 to 102 points. Meanwhile, Ferrari slightly outscored the Silver Arrows over the recent races, yet Mercedes maintain a commanding 134-point cushion in the constructors' standings.

Despite brutally demanding working conditions, the Mercedes crew maintained an exceptional level of operational execution. Speaking on the team's Nu Silver Arrows Radio Show, deputy team representative Bradley Lord reflected on the challenge:

"Of course, we keep the drivers' title battle in mind, but the key point is that we dropped some points to Red Bull and Ferrari in the constructors' championship over the last few rounds. We hold a solid lead, but nothing is decided yet. We have to focus on finishing both cars as high as possible. It sounds cliché, but that is our primary objective every single race weekend.

"We must credit the efficiency and precision we showed across these three back-to-back races—arguably the toughest of the year for garage heat and humidity. In Singapore, despite forced crew substitutions due to injuries, we had people stepping in who hadn't completed a live race pit stop in 15 years. Even so, we were the fastest team in the pit lane and posted the quickest stop for the second weekend in a row. That reflects the caliber of our operation and gives us huge confidence heading into a tough final run of flyaway races away from home," Lord said.
