In the video released by the lawmaker on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, he dismissed recent allegations of paying thugs money and supplying them with guns to destabilise Kogi ahead of the 2019 general elections.

He blamed Governor Bello for trying to frame him and then broke into several songs, in a mix of English and Yoruba, demeaning the governor and promising that he will be imprisoned when his tenure is over.
