Mbappé Nets 20th World Cup Goal, Draws Level with Messi

Kylian Mbappé propelled France into the lead during their 2026 World Cup quarter-final clash against Morocco.

This marked his 20th goal overall in World Cup finals, and specifically his eighth at the North American tournament.

The French star now stands level with Lionel Messi, who also boasts eight goals at the current tournament but has played one fewer match, with Argentina yet to face Switzerland.
