Floyd Mayweather Expresses Fear Over Maidana's Gloves
The September 3 rematch between ‘Moneyman’ Floyd Mayweather Jnr and Marcos Maidana will not change much as in the venue as it will not in the apparels won by the fighters in their first fight on May 3.
Maidana wanted to wear a 227-gram glove which Mayweather considered ‘not padded enough’ and the American has come out again to object the choice of glove for the 31 year-old Argentine.
The American won the first match with a split decision but Maidana argues that he won the fight instead with one judge counting 114-114 and the said: adding that:
rematch will make it he signed with Showtime Networks Inc, a New York based American premium cable and satellite television network that serves as the flagship service of the Showtime Networks subsidiary of CBS Corporation.
Should Mayweather win the September 3 rematch, it will be his 49th win and the undefeated American professional five-division world champion says: he further added that:
In the aftermath of the first fight, Maidana accused Mayweather of using the elbows and urged referees to watch out for the rematch:
Maidana has a record 31 Kos, 4 major decision wins and 4 losses from 39 fights.
Could this be Mayweather's first professional loss?
