IPOB has been holding protests across some states in the South-East geo-political region calling for the release of the leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

According to Punch, MASSOB also called on IPOB to stop their style of protests so more lives will not be lost.

MASOB’s National Director of Information on Saturday, Sunday Okereafor also told Punch, that leaders of IPOB are collecting money from some notable politicians.

He also alleged that the protests by IPOB are aimed to incite violence and cause chaos in the South-East.

Okereafor said “We welcome genuine protests like the ones always carried out by MASSOB. The IPOB protests are sponsored by politicians.’’

MASSOB also reiterated that the agitation for Biafra is bigger than any individual.
