Bournemouth's French forward Eli Junior Kroupi, who has recovered from an injury sustained over the summer, must remain "patient" to avoid a relapse, manager Marco Rose has warned. "We still need to manage his minutes," the German coach said ahead of the league clash with Leeds. "I am delighted that he is back and that I can rely on his qualities, but he knows he has to be careful so we don't find ourselves in a difficult position with another injury."
"We have to build up his match fitness, get him into good shape by gradually increasing his playing time alongside strong training sessions," Rose added. The 20-year-old center-forward was a standout performer for the Cherries last season, scoring 13 goals, before suffering an injury in July that required surgery. Kroupi came on as a substitute for the final three minutes of the 3-0 Premier League victory over Manchester United a week ago, followed by a ten-minute cameo in Wednesday's 3-0 League Cup win against Aston Villa.
