Marco Bezzecchi Undergoes Successful Surgery, Aims for Silverstone Return

Aprilia Racing has confirmed that Marco Bezzecchi underwent successful surgery on his left collarbone in Italy.

Following his crash during the second qualifying session for the German Grand Prix, Bezzecchi returned to his home country on Saturday for an operation on his fractured collarbone, an injury that forced him to withdraw from the remainder of the Sachsenring race weekend.

On Sunday, Aprilia Racing announced that the surgery, performed at the university hospital in Sassuolo, was successful and the No. 72 rider is now recovering. The team expressed optimism about seeing Bezzecchi back on track for the next race, scheduled to take place in a month at Silverstone.
