Marco Bezzecchi: A Great Day, But I Missed My Braking Point on Turn One

Marco Bezzecchi admitted to making a crucial error on the first corner of the Aragon Sprint Race, misjudging his braking point and allowing Marc Marquez to overtake him for the lead.

Marquez's aggressive move also enabled his brother Alex to pass Bezzecchi, with the trio maintaining these positions until the end of the 11-lap race. Despite finishing third, Bezzecchi described the day as fantastic, highlighting his pole position in qualifying and his podium finish in the sprint.

"It was a wonderful day. Honestly, I didn't expect to achieve such great results in qualifying and the sprint, because yesterday I felt good, but my pace wasn't the best. I'm very happy, I knew Marc and Alex had a bit more. Unfortunately, I messed up the braking point for the first corner a little bit. But yes, I'm very pleased, thanks to the team, now we'll focus on tomorrow," Bezzecchi stated in his post-race television interview after the Aragon Sprint.
