Marc Marquez secured his fifth sprint victory of the season, and third consecutive win at Aragon, thanks to an aggressive attack into the first corner that allowed him to overtake pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi.

Following the race, the world champion stated he knew he had to attack from the start, primarily because Bezzecchi opted for the soft rear tire, while Marquez was on the medium-hard compound. According to the Ducati rider, the situation will be similar in tomorrow's main race.
“I knew Marco was on the soft rear tire, so I had to attack into the first corner. Tomorrow will be more of the same. Of course, a good start helped a lot, then I had good pace, but the group was also quite fast, especially Alex. Let's see if tomorrow we can improve and be as consistent as today,” the world champion commented.
