Pacquiao shockingly lost to Horn in a WBO world welterweighttitle fight on Saturday via unanimous decision.

Despite his defeat, he remains a hero in his home country of Philippines and was given a  military salute when he arrived the airport in General Santos.

The future of the 38-year-old boxer is in question following his shocking defeat to Horn although he has suggested that he would fight for a re-match.

''We have a clause for a rematch. No problem,'' the 38-year-old said.

Pacquiao yields huge influence in his home country of Philippines where he currently serves as a senator.

He was elected to the House of Representatives in the 15th Congress of the Philippines, representing the province of Sarangani.

He was re-elected in 2013 to the 16th Congress of the Philippines.

In June 2016, Pacquiao was elected as a senator and will serve a six-year term until 2022.
