Manchester United Sells Pitch Sections for £125 Each

English football club Manchester United is selling sections of the old Old Trafford pitch to its fans. These turf squares are priced at £125 each and are available for purchase after the club replaced the playing surface for the first time in 14 years.

"Wins and losses, successes and failures, highs and lows... We've seen it all. From today, our supporters can own a piece of the pitch. Don't worry, there are no holes at the stadium. This is all possible after the old turf was completely replaced in June, marking the first time in 14 years," the club announced.

"This project was carried out by specialist Tony Sinclair and his team of experts. They were tasked with replacing the surface and making it better for the players. As part of the project, we carefully preserved sections of the pitch and placed them in glass cubes to serve as a memento for our supporters," United added.
