Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos has successfully completed his medical ahead of his transfer from Chelsea to Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano. As early as Wednesday evening, it became clear that the two clubs had reached an agreement for a deal worth £48 million upfront, plus an additional £2 million in bonuses. The midfielder is expected to be at the Red Devils' training ground today to sign his personal contract. The deal is anticipated to run until the summer of 2031, with an option for an additional season.

Romano further reports that another anticipated new signing, Karl Darlow, is likely to undergo his medical tests around the same time on Friday. The most intriguing case remains that of Brazilian international Ederson. Manchester United had reached an agreement with Atalanta for his rights, valued at approximately €40 million plus bonuses, even before the World Cup began. His emergency call-up to the squad delayed the completion of the deal.

However, the situation surrounding him has now changed from the English side's perspective. He is expected to arrive in England next week to undergo medical tests, and only then will the Red Devils' management make a final decision on whether this transfer will proceed or if they will opt out of signing Ederson.
