Manchester United has officially confirmed that Andre Onana will once again be loaned out to Trabzonspor. According to Fabrizio Romano, the loan fee could reach £1.3 million, with no option to buy included in the agreement. Trabzonspor will cover the majority of the Cameroonian's wages.
It was previously reported that Onana desired to return to Manchester United, participate in pre-season training, and fight for his place. The former Inter goalkeeper is under contract with the Red Devils until June 30, 2028, but it's unlikely he will get another chance to play for Manchester United.
Last season, Onana made 40 appearances across all competitions for Trabzonspor. Overall, he has played 102 matches for the Red Devils after his transfer to Old Trafford in the summer of 2023.
