Psquare were the major winners at the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).

The duo of Peter and Paul Okoye, won two awards on the big night. They were recipients of the 'Best Group’ award, beating South Africa’s house sensations, Beatenberg, Kenya’s power musicians, Sauti Sol, and Angola’s B4.

They also won a non-voting category, ‘Artiste of the decade’, in recognition of their successful longevity at the top of African music.

This award adds more shine to a glittering career filled with many highs and few public lows. They have released 6 albums, 2 compilations, and featured some of the best in world music.

Peter and Paul were on hand to receive the award last night (July 18) at the award at the ceremony in Durban, South Africa, dedicating the gong to all the upcoming acts.
